Eagles Christmas Party
Saturday 7pm, 6 December 2025

Our big Christmas party is back. Expect lights, music and someone trying to start karaoke even though no one asked for it. Come along and have a good time.

Christmas lights run
Monday 6.30pm, 22 December 2025

A steady run to look at the best Christmas lights in town. We end at Jenny’s for mulled wine and mince pies. Try not to sprint straight to the food. We notice.

Winter Bingo
Jan Feb and March 2026

A simple way to stay moving through the cold months. Run a bit. Tick a square. Feel smug. There is no real prize except bragging rights but that seems to work for us.

Thirsk 10 2026

22 March 2026

This is a ten mile race in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. It starts at 10am which is just early enough to make you question your life choices but late enough that you can still have breakfast twice.

The entry fee is £25 which feels about right for the privilege of running for ages while trying to look like you are enjoying yourself.

We want to make a big day of this so it would be great to see loads of Eagles there. The more of us who turn up, the more people we have to complain to afterwards.
